Recap of the 2007 Cabin Fever Calendar

Hey everybody, I am just starting this today. I want to keep you up on what's new here.

First, Welcome to my new web site and my new format. I've just been busy with all these changes and challenges and with the 2008 issue of the Cabin Fever Calendar.   Yes... we are currently shooting the Flight attendant calendar for 2008. All the proceeds of the calendar goes to cancer research and treatment at the Princess Margaret hospital. 2008 will be the 4th issue.  The first issue of Cabin Fever, back in 2005 was actually inspired by the movie "Calendar Girls".

I was one of the 2 photographers for last year's issue and this year, I've taken on the whole shoot... It's a lot of work and it's a lot of fun. Talk about running high on emotions...

Let me show you some of last year's stuff - This year's is still "Top secret"- I will  let you know the launch date. Here are some of my photos that made the 2007 issue of the calendar. The title for that issue was "Flights, Camera, Action..." The story was A day in the life of a "Glamorous" Flight Attendant. LOL... I am laughing because most of us are still looking for the glamour of this job...

This was the last page of the calendar it was called "coming home

I have to say, this was a lot of fun.  And I am very proud to have been part of this group who "flew" the  project home.  You will find more pics and out takes, and learn more about the cause we are all working for ; Raising $$$ for cancer research and also treatment which is very expensive at this linkCabin Fever Calendar

Hello and welcome

Hello everyone,
I am just starting my new Blog. I just want to keep you updated on what goes on in and out of the studio. For those of you new to Your Eye on Photo, My name is Desiree. I am a flight attendant as well as a photographer. I've been combining both travel and shooting for a long time.  I did mostly travel shots which ended up in calendars and books all over North America. Now I am looking to retire from flying and pursuing a full time career as a photographer.  If you want to know more about my photography background follow this link to my web site  About the photographer

I have opened my studio here ,in Caledon East, 2 and a half years ago. I am happy to say that sometimes I have more work than I can handle.  I will eventually be a full time photographer.

If you've just stumbled upon this Web Log page, please be sure to check out the main web site for Your Eye on Photo at this link Your Eye on Photo .

Now that you more or less know where I came from, In my next post I will catch you up with some of my past and future projects.
